Hearts of Fire International was birthed from two Divine questions: “Who heals My healers?” and “Who strengthens My generals? We have aspired to respond gracefully, not just with words, but by following Jesus’ example in scripture: what we see Him do, we join Him in doing (Jn. 5:19); what we hear Him say, we amplify by speaking (Mat. 10:27). More than a podcast, “Sparks from God’s Heart” is a living chronicle to ignite the hearts of all ministers with fresh fire by sharing the things we have seen and heard (Acts 4:20). Our words and teachings flow from an Apostolic/Prophetic Five-Fold Ministry anointing with one purpose: to equip you, His saints, to grow and operate fully in your ministry and callings (Eph. 4:11-12). How to Fight Against Burnout
This message centers around Megan Shen, an expert in loss and grief. She is an Associate Professor at Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center. Megan does research on how we can better support patients and their families through the challenging process of walking through terminal illness and the grief that follows. She was asked to speak at the GeekWire 2022 Summit, which brings together engineers, entrepreneurs, investors, and innovators to discuss the future of business and technology. Surprisingly, Megan spoke to them about how to fight against burnout; how to find hope and resilience in the face of challenging times and circumstances. They loved it. We played her talk for our weekly gathering and the Lord used it to open up some much-needed discussion, as well as deep healing for many of us.
